GMJohnny & AKRover in Vegas

Hello boys. I just got back from a small vacation to see AK and his wife in Las Vegas. While we were there, two notable things happened. We happened to be playing slots in a hotel where the Miss USA pagent girls were staying. They paraded right by us as we were gambling. Fortunately for Tim and I ou...

Smoker, That may not be too bad of an idea. If you think it will take almost the same amount of time, I am game. I am going to Vegas to see AKRover till Sunday, so I won't be able to reply, but early next week, once we have a definitive weather forcast, we can set it up. If it is crummy weather, wha...

I haven't seen the LOOOONNNNGGG term weather forcast, but as of now I still have a seat left in the Vette, and about half of a glove box size of room left to carry things in. I do have a trailer that the red truck could pull if we think it is necessary. (?) We could just lay the bike down on its sid...

So several months ago, a good Craigslist find set me up with a set of Y2K polished aluminum wheels. I spent the better portion of the Daytona 500 polishing them in my family room. I have been saving my play money so I could buy a set of new skins. I just ebay-d off my old tractor which created enoug...

Just so you guys know, I used a standard tri pod when I was fooling around with the dynamic one time. I was able to mash it in the seat fold and adjust the front leg long enough to hit the floor. It took about 3 mins.
to set up and worked everywhere.

I have heard that the "hi performance" converters are no different than the stock ones in some cases. I talked to Greg at Cars of the Past about it one time. He said he had some hi performance ones a guy bought and they had the same part number on them as the run of the mill ones did. Run ...

Dave is correct. I am planning on going up on Friday am. I'd like to be at the fairgrounds around 12 - 1. I am an early riser, so leaving real early does not offend me. I am game to go with whoever needs a ride, and am planning on taking the vette, unless weather is rough. ( heavy rain and I'm leaki...

So, Wednesday the 11th, I decided to stop putting off the inevitable and fix the heater problem with the c5. The car had an issue with its ability to heat the driver's side of the interior. The passenger could select climate control correctly, but driver was forced to freeze. Literally, I had to dri...

I know I wrote this before in the blog, but did you check the wire by the passenger side fender well??? When mine did this, just a small 10 min de-rusting & I was in business. Also, my car does not leak into the cab, but after a heavy rain will leak water for hours on the driveway from underneat...
