Re: 2003 S-10

The S10 has been at Dad's for a few weeks while the Vette is at my place. I bought some braided brake lines awhile back with the intention of putting them on over the winter. Winter is clearly over but yesterday seemed a good day for the task. I didn't take any pictures so use your imagination, but ...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

I did know the headlight off trick. A headlight aiming tool would be handy. Might worth doing it with a full tank of gas since these hold so much fuel.
Definitely needs to be DARK to know if it worked.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

So my headlight adjustment in the garage was pretty unsuccessful in the dark so last night I went out with a screwdriver at dusk and drove around making several adjustments, each one a little better, but I'm pretty happy how they turned out compared to what I had. With last Wed being a little crazy,...

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

Dad and I went to KMP last night for another go at it. The improvements from last week that I noticed were that there were more people at the entrance gate getting signatures and taking money, so that went quickly. There is now at least a couple working speakers that I heard, so it's easier to know ...

Re: No burnouts allowed!

The cop was correct in drawing his weapon as that guy was putting other people's lives in serious danger. People can be soooo stupid.

That looks pretty slick. I'm sure there's a ready made hose for that scenario.

Re: 2014 Cadillac ATS Luxury 2.0T AWD - Mostmint #46

5) I ran most of the passes in sport mode. When they switched to 1/8 mile passes, I let off at the end and the car would not upshift. I switched back to touring mode after this happened and it went back to normal on the return road. Unclear if this is normal behavior I suspect this is completely nor...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

Last night coming home from the track was the first time I've driven at night with the new headlights. They are definitely an improvement, and since it was fresh in my head, and the car was in my garage, I took the chance to adjust them a little better. The right light was pointed forward correctly ...

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

My Vette doesn't have traction control so that's a non-issue for me.

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

I also forgot to mention, that despite the rather bad air quality, there was a decent tailwind, and I was able to get my best ET in time runs at 13.66 and my best 60' at 1.80. The car is dead consistent with even decent traction. Three time runs at 1/4 mile were 13.68, 13.68, and 13.66. This is the ...

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

For those who weren't there last night, the new track management has a lot of work to do to get organized. Hopefully they can get it figured out over the next few weeks. There was just a lot of confusion and lack of preparation on their part. It was frustrating. That being said, it was fun hanging o...

Those are all worthwhile upgrades to make that a daily driver. Especially the skid plate. That thing is LOW.

Alex, have YOU driven it yet?
