I had a very solid Tiresmoke weekend.. Saturday morning, Dad and I made our annual trek to Linesville, PA for the Bair's Corvette show. We've been going pretty regularly since 2007. The last trip, which I think was 2022, ended with the Corvette coming home on the back of flatbed with failed points and a blown out muffler. This year was a very successful journey with perfect weather too.
Saturday night, Scott & Robin Wangler came by and I got him introduced to the Malibu since he will be my co-pilot on Drag Week. Unfortunately, the car wasn't quite road-worthy, as I still needed an upper radiator hose. However, Scott, Robin, Gwen, and I all piled into the Chevelle and took it to dinner and even made a high speed run down Wilson Mills. It's been a LONG time since I had 3 other people in that car. And I loved that we could do it.
Sunday, I took a trip to Summit to pick up the pieces I needed for the Malibu radiator hose and got it put together. I made a few passes up and down Wilson Mills. It was very encouraging. I'll update the project threads a little later..
