Don't like the color? Is the paint bad? Paint looks OK in the pics

The car has a lot if chips and such. It had a new nose put on it from a minor accident. So only the front of the car was repainted. Since it is already half apart, now is the time to do it. I hope to try and take the car to the next level.

Can't always tell from pics that last bit of detail - or maybe my observer eye is less discerning than owner eye lol.

Looking forward to seeing the results.

Is your brother painting it, or staying local? I'm assuming it's staying white?

UPDATE ENGINE BAY

I decided I hated the large ugly standard type battery.
After a little research, Mazda MIATA guys like this small AGM battery.
I just need to figure out how best to isolate it and mount it in the engine bau.
I think it looks great.

UPDATE FLOOR PANS

I decided to do banging and scraping on the interior before paint.
Then I discovered the tar panels were STUCK.
I was at that time thinking to put the new kilmat directly over the old.
My BMW buddies here changed my mind.

How much weight savings did you get from that battery too? I'm guessing at least 15lbs. That tar flooring seems like a terrible job, but the floor looks sweet underneath.

The dry ice made very easy work of the removal.

About 14 pounds
