Wed night the Viper made it's drag racing debut at Kuhnle. I called GMJohnny out with his Vette because he's been talking trash that his Vette is faster than my Viper. In this case he was right. On the same night and the same track, I was just under two tenths less quick, but I think our MPH was the same. It took me several passes to start to figure the launch and the shifting out (for the most part). This netted me a 12.40 @ 115 with a 1.91 60' time.
I signed up for the brand new that night, stick shift street class but unfortunately was the only one in it. And since I would rather race than make a time run for a trophy (sorry Dave & Tony  ) I decided to go back into the street stock class. Long story short, four rounds later I was able to pull off a magical victory in my stick shift car that I have never raced before. I earned it in the first round, but honestly, the other three weren't that tough. I think Viper intimidation got the best of the competition... My worst light in competition was a .06 in the first round, with a .01, and two .04s, so I wasn't all that bad, but traction went away in the right lane for the semis and the finals but my competition both broke out and really, I wasn't very close to them. I'll take it!
I did get to race my buddy Bob Fill's son in the finals. Andy raced him in the finals earlier in the year.
And Camaro Bob came out to spectate too. You can see his blue OBS next to my car.

I'll attach a few pics others sent me.
