Re: 1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe
The buyer on the Lincoln forum arrived Tue AM. We had a briefly spirited test drive and stop at the credit union to get the title notarized and home to peruse all my Lincoln files and the TS.org project thread. Buyer has a COMPLETE history of my time with it. Was fun reminiscing all the challenges a...

Re: 1981 corvette
Have you done a compression or leak down test? The video sounds like it's missing on a cyl or two.

Have to report that it has failed to alert on 2 or 3 occasions. Still love it.

Re: 1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe
Thanks!! It was great fun making it what suited me with lots of good project time with WXO. Many months ago I made it known on the Lincoln forum I was thinking about selling. Think I did the same on the local car club. Was planning on putting in some shows with a "For Sale" sign on it sinc...

Mail Alert
I LOVE this product. Our mailbox is about 150' from the house. The receiver is mounted inside one wall on the front of the house. The alert works flawlessly!! Chimes whenever the mailbox is opened and leaves a red light on till it's reset. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YWDE6SI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b...

Stainless Steel Zip Ties
A poster on the Lincoln forum was looking for a replacement for brake line clips on the rear axle. I liked this idea in a response. Example was for heater hoses but it looks like a solution for either. In a different forum a user made insulated stainless zip ties .... They said .... "I decided ...

Re: COVID Vaccinations
My wife and I really shut down when the pandemic struck. Absolute minimum in-person shopping. Groceries delivered and disinfected before coming in the house. Packages sat in the garage for two days before coming into the house. Company only on the deck with distancing maintained. Since we are vaccin...

Re: COVID Vaccinations
UPDATE: We lost another friend to COVID-19, this time the 65 year old sister of a good old friend. She refused to be vaccinated and didn't have to die. Three good friends have survived it, one was hospitalized in ICU and had severe symptoms when released. We MAY have lost one woman in the US to the ...
