Ok see you then.
Bringing a chair and a cooler. Don’t know if there’s room for a pop up to catch some shade.
If it gets too hot we can always ditch early

Re: 2007 Mini Cooper S
I did a bad job as wingman didn't spend a lot of time going over the car. Anyway its super clean underneath too.
We met the seller just a minute or two before a huge downpour. Luckily we parked on the east side of the building with a big overhang so we could chat a bit til the worst of it blew ...

Side project: Seat cooling passenger side
The SXT Plus model has heating and cooling in the front seats. As I learned with the driver seat, the replacement seats I purchased were from a base model and didn't have these features. I have been thinking about doing this upgrade - but what prompted me ...

My first thought is - front sprints had to have settled also over all that time so you might want to change those out also. I also wonder how well aftermarket springs meet the factory specifications for loading/spring rate.

CCiS 2025 Season Race 7 Sebring Race Report
Back to the BMW M2 which I still don't like. At least this time they used their updated setup which was much more manageable.
Qualified 20 of 26. I felt pretty good about my pace but it just wasn't enough. I didn't make many mistakes though. In the ...

Another small upgrade is getting a spare key for the car.
I ordered a cheap one on eBay. When I went to install it I learned the sequence to program the remote requires me to put the physical key in the door and turn it counter clockwise five times. The instructions are actually in the owner manual ...

If you want to save money on tools, consider making a list of things you may want/need, then start shopping used. I think that in this country there is an oversupply of hand tools. It's going to be an adventure securing what you want but you can probably get 3x the tools or more for the money. For ...

Re: 2010 GMC Acadia - Mostmint #48
The rear spring bump stops were broken. Since Kurt will surely overload it I decided to go after this small project.

Couple minor updates:
1) The RF had a slow leak . I finally got tired of it and looked at it. I found a tiny bead leak that had something sticking out. With a little help from the tire machine I moved the bead down and found a piece of rag in there. I had used that rag to keep the machine from ...

XSLR Season 9 Race 12 Indy Race Report

Updates:
1) Fixing rear toe alignment took a couple tries. I was maxed out on the LR adjustment and still not in spec. Eventually I decided to do a four wheel alignment. That was tricky at first since the front tracking width is more narrow that the rear. Once I knew the difference I was able to ...
