Dropped off some scrap on my way to work this morning..
Aluminum cans, $0.70/lb (10 lbs)
Iron/Steel $0.097/lb (34 lbs)
Catalytic Converter, $4 (they checked to see it hadn't been hollowed out)
That's a pretty good price for aluminum. I went to East Side Metals, just south of I-90. I walked out with $14.50. That'll buy lunches for a week.
