I had plans to visit the Cleveland area this week, but alas there are circumstances working against me. The major problem is our remodeling project that has extended into next week. So it's official. The trip is cancelled.
If that isn't enough, I replaced a leaky clutch master cylinder in the Z28 on Wednesday and now I can't drive the car because the clutch doesn't have enough throw to fully disengage the pressure plate to change gears. I've been bleeding the bleeding thing for two days now and have not been able to remove the air that seems to be causing the trouble. I've tried several bleeding techniques and have a couple of more in mind to try out. This has to be the worst I've seen.

I don't know if you saw my project thread, but I just finished the clutch bleeding on it. I watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdf--suwqw0 and then made that tool for about $10 and it worked great for me. hope that might help.

Thanks for the tip on the video, Chris. It was a good review of the hydraulic concepts, but unfortunately is too simplistic for the Camaro clutch hydraulic setup. It's near impossible to introduce fluid from the bottom due to the remote location of the bleeder valve (you can't even see it). Also, this bleeder valve does not have a nipple like most. It is simply a hole in the middle of the bleeder nut. This hole is where the fluid exits when the valve is opened. I'm going to try pressure bleeding next. Maybe I'll luck out.
