I have a really nice Craftsman cordless drill and flashlight which I've had for many years.
Now the batteries are doing nothing. Has anyone tried this?

Since my drill is 14.4 volts, I thought I'd use a battery charger, what do you think?

How about a metal trashcan as a blast cover just in case :)

I've heard of flashing 'em with 110v, but I've never done it....and never will....

I tried it with two car batteries in series to get 24 volts. It did revive the batteries for a while, but not good enough for long term. I'm ready to trash all my old batteries and look for good buys on new ones at the swap meets.
