From Dyno to TRP

After a morning dyno session at Hutter's, it was off to TRP to see the improvements to GMJohnny's '98 Vette.
When last we raced, his best time was 13.61@103.36, the STS-V best was 13.55@102.42.
This night the vette's best 13.34@104.56, the STS-V best was 13.47@103.02.
My .08 second and .6 mph improvement can be attributed to the slightly better weather condition,
but the bulk of the vette's .27 second improvement has to be attributed to the tune.
A good .2 and a good part of his mph gains.

Yes, BasementPaul is back in the 12's with the grey ghost.
GMJohnny's red lite put him out in the first round,
Basement was beat in the second round by a better run.
My best 13.47 pass was in the second round, unfortunately it was on a 13.49 dial.
Thanks to GMIvy for being there and taking pictures.
TRP is always fun!

I was able to muster two 12.98 runs out of the night. The big deal was the 1.75 and 1.77 60' times that came out of the night. The car really hooked up on all but one pass where I spun a little (1.93). I also ran 103, which was pretty good.
Next trip, I'll have readjusted the timing (turn it back a couple degrees), and turn the tire pressure from 20, down to 18 psi. I've heard that 14psi is the ideal pressure for my M/T ET STREET tires, but I'm not convinced yet.
I also plan to get the shift light in, and start removing some things. I have to paint the bathroom first...

Either way, a good trip out.
