Team Tiresmoke makes the final table

Post by TireSmoker »

From a field of 23 players, Mostmint, Fred32v, and I all made the final table out at Chris Nyerges' poker game last night. While Mostmint finished out of the "official" money by placing 8th, I think his high-hand of the night held up, 4 Kings, with 3 kicker, which should've netted him over $100 ($115?) I came close later on with 4/5 of a royal flush, missing only the Ace (or a 9 for straight flush), but it wasn't enough.

I finished in 6th place. Fred32v was on the shortstack for a little while and I was trying to hang around till he went out to improve my finishing position, but I lost most of my chips in the end when I got out-kicked on top pair, and finally lost the last of my chips on my Ace-6 to someone's King-6 that paired the King on the flop.

Where did you finally finish Fred?

It was a queen kicker, which Chris described a "weak". 32v finished 5th.

4 kings w/ queen kicker: $110

Talking with Chuppa about a silver Mustang II 11 second racecar he was thinking about buying to put on the street: priceless.

I can't help but notice the following:

When I sat next to Chuppa, I made high-hand of the night.

When you sat next to Chuppa, you made high-hand of the night.

Chupposity has been proven!
