I had a pretty good night at the poker table last night at Chris Nyerges' (sp?). First off, I was seated next to Chuppa to start off. I lost a good chunk of chips to him early on trying to represent that I had an ace with A K 8 on the board and another Ace came on the turn. (I had K J). Chuppa did have an ace.
I later beat his King-high flush with my straight-flush (2 to 6) and got most of my chips back. A while later, I ended up putting him on the trailer, with my pocket 6s to his Q-10 suited that never paired.
I ended up taking 4th place ($100), I won the high-hand of the night with my straight flush ($45 **), I took out the only bounty-stack ($40). I netted $145 for the night.
** I didn't buy into the high-hand pot ($5), but some old guy named Chuck asked if he could buy-in for my high-hand. After I made my straight-flush (within the first 15 minutes!), he agreed to split it with me, and Chris suggested I gave him $5 extra since he bought in for it. The pot for high-hand was $100.
