"The objects in your mirrors, are Fords"
... sorry Walt.

I guess it's time to pack up and move to the Carolina Fords and/or Jeep forums. I never thought you guys would stoop this low.
I guess you just can't help it.
Go Henry

I wasn't pickin' on ya or anything.
Heck, even BP been known to run a 'blue oval' thing or two.
Matter of fact, when I first met BP, he was running a Mustang - with three pedals. And.... the 32 valve guy has a ranger.
Go figure.

Even BP???

Whadya mean "even BP"??? Heck he's no pinnacle of loyalty to any brand. He'd buy and race anything with wheels. As for me, the older I get, the less picky I get. I enjoy whatever happens to come my way.

How'd I get dragged into this? Sad thing is, you're both right. I'm always looking for a deal, and a change. I like to have lots of different items. I do like the "new" T-bird too. Not necessarily a fast car, but more than enough to beat up on an unsuspecting Bonneville in the Valley on Saturday afternoon.
I guess I'm a brand whore if you will. Not too much foriegn has tickled my fancy though, except the Stanza. I did like that one.

Waitaminute BP! I seem to remember your promoting a V6 Toyota RAV4 when I threw up the RAV4 straw man here on Tiresmoke. Even though they are probably made in the good ol' USA, they are still rice burners (no matter how good they are). You can't get away with your phony act of being a discriminating car buyer. We have you pegged.
Too many cars

Hey... PB, remember a Honda, Passport? maybe. Gold in color, and the spair tire on the outside, that clunked when you started and stopped.
I believe you had to put a starter on it.
I should talk. My first dealer new car was a 1978 Datsun B210....

I didn't keep that Honda for long. For some reason, I feared that thing breaking any more. It just left me with an uneasy feeling I didn't like. I did like the way it looked though. The only praise I had for the RAV4 was that it was a 14 sec machine. This seems pretty cool to me, although the V6 Saturn Vues with the Honda motor will run a low 15 sec 1/4. I'd buy one of those before I bought the Toyota.
I could see myself with a old Beetle at some point in my life....

"Do the deal!" is still really hilarious, even without the wine and beers.
