Tiresmoke Turbo Trailer

I present to you, the Tiresmoke Turbo Trailer. I pulled the trigger back in May for an enclosed car trailer. It's a Diamond Cargo 8.5x20'. You can order a lot of different stuff, but I went for the important stuff -- power awning (shade), and an electric tongue jack. It's listed as 3300lbs empty. Maliboost is 3100 lbs, so should be around 6400, + ~200lbs of tools/gear/etc, 6600. My specific Turbo Truck is rated to tow 9200, so I hope I'm good there. I think I may want to get a weight-distribution hitch, though.

You'll definitely want to get that, but otherwise you'll be fine. Kevin pulls the same type right with a heavier car with no issues. But he has that hitch and makes a world of difference.

Very nice. Even when we started road racing, could not have envisioned either of us having a new enclosed trailer.
First time I noticed the custom plate on the Maliboost
Can you add a hitch to the back of the trailer to tow the utility trailer you use for drag week?
And finally - that trailer looks like it could use a Tiresmoke decal of some kind

Yeah, I love the plate.

When I saw it was available, I had to get it. I have the front plate hanging on the wall in the garage
I looked at open trailers quite a bit, but came to the conclusion there's a lot of value in the enclosed, a lot of potential utility. In the big scheme of things, esp at this point in my life, it's not *that* much money.
I'm not doing the double trailer thing. I wouldn't be able to see, at all, the drag week trailer in the mirror. That would make me nuts. Worst case, we'll put it in the bed of the truck, orrrr... maybe I can get the long tongue cut/collared so that it's removable. Then I could stand it on end in the front of the trailer.
Yes, it needs a Tiresmoke sticker! We may use it for Mid-Ohio.

How about a roof rack for the car?

Hobbits and roof racks dont mix well.

The politically correct term is "vertically challenged". The Hobbits might find that offensive. But you make a good point...

Beauteous!
I'll add that a WDH will be well worth it.
What do you have for a brake controller?
I recommend

Almost unlimited options.
They're in Litchfield.
