Is this a motorcycle replacement, or just an addition?

More info as promised.
2007 C6 Corvette Convertible. 3LT. Automatic. Lemans Blue with two tone gray interior. 42K miles. I'm the 5th owner. No accidents, per Carfax. At the dealership were purchased, I was able to get this on a lift and examine the undercarriage. All original. Unmolested! No evidence of being high centered. All CV boots intact. Good brakes. The front air dam is par for the age/mileage. The LS2 does show evidence of a oil pan leak. That was a good price negotiating tool. Trans and diff are clean.

500 Mile report:
It passed an E check. :) :) :) :)
So far, so good. Averaging 22.1 MPG. The battery was new in March ‘22. The tires (Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4) all have the date code of 4321\4521. The tires still have the little mold nubs on them! The oil life monitor says 55% remaining, yet it was just changed at the dealership when I bought it, obviously never reset. There’s a little sticker in the windshield stating the oil change, mileage and date. The filler cap door has a nasty scratch in it. But I think I can live with it.
The paddle shifters are kind of fun to play with !!!
The heads up display has a street mode and two track modes, and another thing kind of fun to play with. I've hit .42Gs
So far, I’ve had it up to 95. Steady as a rock.
I’ve done two rolling full throttle blast on freeway ramps from RT91 to 422. Very gentleman ‘ish’ acceleration. Nothing violent, it just pulls like hell. Traction control was still activated….. Nothing from a standstill.... yet.
The limited slip differential has a little chatter when it’s cold going around tight corners. I’m betting the fluid was changed, but the special additive for the clutch type limited slip was never added.
There’s a cover missing on top of the air intake/filter system. I’m not quite sure how important that is, if at all.
I’m still sorting out the memory seats and the key fobs.
The harmonic balancer will probably need replaced at some point. Common issue I understand. Shes a bit wobbly.

It looks like a nice bike replacement. The oil leak may be as simple as snuggling up the pan bolts. These things do not leak.
It's funny that when we're older, we like to say how good the mileage is, and when we're younger, we liked to say how bad the mileage is.
Any plans for any performance upgrades or is stock good enough for you?

One of the reasons I bought this, is because its "unmolested".
No tune, no cam, no headers, no cat-back etc.
It's going to stay that way.

While in the hunt, I drove a 2008 (I really wanted an LS3....) 'vert, had a BORLA, pedal commander, aftermarket radio, and a back-up camera and only 21k miles. All the while I was driving this, I couldn't help but think about the possible wiring mess behind the radio. That was a showstopper.

Anyway.... my climate controls are now 'flashing' indicating emanate failure. I understand this is a relatively easy fix. RnR of the control unit. In the meantime, the AC is still functional so it's not real high on the priority list.
However, an alignment is. Shes got a slight pull to the left....

That looks really good Mark, congrats on the purchase. Will we eventually see it at Thompson??

I think my motorcycle riding days are about over too.

The Yamaha is now sold. Bittersweet departure.
At least I get to concentrate my time and energy (and finances) to the C6.

Items needing addressed are:
Engine oil and filter change
Transmission filter and fluid change
Differential drain and fill
HVAC head unit will need attention. I get an intermittent flashing display
Harmonic balancer needs replaced. New serpentine belt
All items are within my skillset, but I need to get under the car....

Looking at getting some kind of portable lift. IE, Quick Jack kinda thing.
Any recommendations, or anything I should avoid?

I've reached out to the Corvette Museum for a build sheet and window sticker.

I did a RPO code search (via CorvetteSalvage.com) and got this:

I always giggle when I see a 2.56 gear ratio on a modern car. That thing should be a 3.56 and it would still be able to do 150+ and cruise easily down the freeway.

1k Mile Report.

Well, that didn't take long.
No new issues to report. Still figuring out the memory key fobs. I'll eventually read the manual...
23.1 mpg average. Must be that 2.56 gear
Got my title. 14days after the sale.

The Harmonic balancer is on the top of my list to address.

Looking at portable garage lifts.
Quick Jack has a 5000lb unit that will work on all my vehicles.
