The time has come to sell this car. At this moment the car runs good, doesn't leak, no warning lights on the dash.
It has over 210k miles. I'm going to start at $5500. If you have serious interest let me know and I'll talk to her about a Tiresmoke discount rate.
Tires are in good shape - will be switched over to the all season tires shortly. I'll get updated pics after it arrives here tomorrow.

Re: 2013 Dodge Charger Police
Replaced the evap solenoid as it was occasionally kicking a P0455 code. The part was < $30 and it lives in the engine compartment.
The air bag light is on. I have no idea what is causing it - will have diagnostic tools available shortly. Rachel said it goes on and off whenever it do chooses. It was off when it showed up here.

Re: 2013 Dodge Charger Police
The evap solenoid was replaced but the new one put the light on immediately. This valve snaps into a tube that goes to the tank - it was dirty around there, so I cleaned that and put a little grease where the o-ring is, and reinstalled the original solenoid. Light went out straight up after that.
The air bag light is resolved. my new scan tool told me it was a problem with the sensor in the passenger seat. A quick search on internet uncovered the connector between this sensor and the wiring harness is suspect. I located it under the passenger seat and wiggled it a bit - sure enough the light went out.
So the car is now on the market

Re: 2013 Dodge Charger Police
Discovered this car was having problems upshifting past 3rd gear when the trans temp was below 160. Worked every time when you manually shifted it.
As such I lowered the price, and sold it tonight to the first guy who showed up. He was a mechanic so he understood what I was saying not so sure I could have sold that to a less mechanically inclined.
FB marketplace is no longer an option for me to sell a car of any value. Had 73 inquiries of all types of silliness:
Low ball offers
Bank will only loan my $3500 but then he was willing to pay $4000
I can only afford $3500 and I need a car to drive my kids around
That's a lot of miles sell me the front clip
Ad says no trades, over 10% were trade requests
Ad says if the ad is up the car is available - first message: is this still available?
Anyway one parking spot freed up.
