Today I purchased a new 2021 Ram Rebel. I really like it. 5.7 etorque, 4x4, black on black. I have not owned a full size truck since the 2007 Avalanche. Missed it so much.

I thought the Avalanche was perfect for you. This is basically the same thing, except more powerful and capable. Good choice on the black. I liked the red ones, but this seems even a little better on this trim package IMO. With those tires, you might just have to get this thing all sorts of muddy.

So there are a couple places I want to go camping. I would not take the ranger or the impala there.

I am also looking for a trailer now. The plan is to sell the M3 hardtop I don't use. I am CONSIDERING selling my set of 19" HRE 545r wheels instead of redoing them, but I will likely over price them a little as I am not 100% I want to sell them yet. Plus some ammo and a couple guns.

As most of you know, a lady hit my new truck. I had 1691 miles

Her USAA insurance did cover the $3,500 repair and the $1,000 rental car, 100%.

I have it back and have a few minor mods.

1. bed rail hole plugs - done
2. weather tech mud flaps - done
3. front bumper plate holes, plugged - done
4. vinyl emblem inserts - done (a few more to come)
5. MBRP muffler - pending install

Looks like it was very minimal paint work at least. Mostly just replacing plastic bits and whatever is behind them.

I bet you like that MBRP exhaust. I always thought my Ram was a little too quiet. Also, don't spend money on a cold air intake for this truck, it makes it a warm air intake and doesn't help the performance. I got just as much performance from the drop in K&N replacement air filter, and it's a true cold air system from the factory.

Room for lots of Corvette parts in that thing.

MBRP muffler installed. It’s about 3-4db louder at idle. I can now hear it running. It’s not too loud that the auto start /stop is weird either. It’s just right.

30 ish minutes in the driveway. Sawzall, hand tools and some music.

And 30 lbs lighter too.

It's a V8, now you can enjoy it. Cool!

Plugged front plate holes.

Black vinyl over the front grill emblem.

I also did red vinyl inside the tailgate emblems.

I "Like" the changes, gives your truck that much more personality.

I have 48,9xx miles on it and the tires are in the marginal zone.
I purchased a set of night edition take offs for $800.
Today I had them balanced and installed.
I dig them.

First picture was when the truck was new, 100 miles.
Second picture is after 3 accidents and 48,9xx miles.
