At the last hour, I decided to take my Suzuki out to TRP, just so that I could race *something*.

It was a really nice ride out there, there wasn't any traffic on Chardon-Windsor or 528. I actually went down Burrows (dirt) to Sidley, instead of up to 166.

I got out there and there was a decent crowd, considering the threat of rain. Lot of bikes. I only got one time run:
-.04 RT : 12.77 @ 102

I dialed a 12.75 for Round 1 and knew I had a good shot when Grant was asking the other guy "Well, what did you run in time runs??". He dialed a 12.70, his bike should prob be in the 11s. Well, I managed a .04 RT : 12.84 @ 101 on the brakes. We cross the line, my win light comes on, he goes past me, but not crazy, we're both slowing down. He must had a mental lapse, didn't stop/turn at the end of the track, goes into the grass, him and bike go tumbling. He gets up pretty quick and is unharmed, but obviously a little shaken. Bike was mostly undamaged too.

Round 2, I came up against a real racer. Dialed in at 9.95 to my 12.75. I just wanted to turn the light green, and did so with a terrible .29. And I stood up the front end much more than I would've liked, but I stayed in it!! 1.95 60-ft, almost a tenth better. My bike only has small side mirrors, and I'm watching him come on me, HARD, trying to judge the stripe, but I just couldn't lift, and broke out with a 12.65.

It was just getting dark, and it was a good time to get back home.

Questionable weather, questionable conversion, questionable facemask on Fade, and a cool Caprice in the high 13s.
