disposing of old 2-stroke mix?

What do you guys do with old 2-stroke fuel mix -- like 32:1 or 50:1 mix? My father has always just poured the remains, usually less than a gallon, into the tank of whatever car he's driving. The thought of this makes me cringe, but I've never seen any adverse effects to his car from this. Thoughts or comments?

I can't see any bad effects from this espcecially if you put a quart or two of 32:1 in a full tank of gas. At that ratio it can't be much worse than an oil burning engine.
The only possible thing I could think of is if it would mess up the O2 sensor or the catalytic (assuming you have them). Maybe I would put it in the gas for the beater car or the lawnmower.

If you have a bunch of drain oil, you could mix it in with that. But if you put it in a car, it would be better to keep it out of OBDII stuff just because if it sets a code, you'll be looking at a light for a long time. '95 and older stuff might smoke a little, but mechanically won't hurt anything.
