I had an '85 S10 Sport small cab short bed 2.8L V6 5-speed. Added a tonneau and moon roof. Loved that truck but, as you probably know, that cab is SMALL.

What's funny is that I sent this truck to my boss last week. It's pretty sweet, but S-10's don't really get that kind of money. Apparently, either do Pro Street Mustangs...

So if everything goes according to plan, the TubStang should be gone by Wed night. A guy saw the car listed on racingjunk.com and is looking to help his 16 year old son buy it. The father actually has basically the same body style Mustang, but in a full tube chassis car, and his kid wants the same car. Since there aren't many out there, mine looked pretty good to him.

After several emails, pictures, and about a half hour discussion on the phone yesterday, he seemed pretty happy about the deal and is planning on driving here from Canada where he'll be the first half of the week. He lives near Rochester, NY and seems real legit. Since he seemed real and I like the story, I told him I'd hold the car until Wed, no problem.

We'll see how it plays out, but I expect it to go according to plan.

More to come.

Done deal. Kind of sad to see it go, but it will have an even better life where it's headed, and now I can focus a little more on business, and getting my S-10 up to speed.
