This guy wants to trade:

http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/5130510344.html

He kept telling me how "rare" it is and there's "only 813 in steel blue metallic". My answer to that is because nobody wanted Steel Blue Metallic. I like the car, but that's an awful color for a Corvette. It might look OK on a LeSabre...

I do like this one though:

I'm still looking to sell, but a white six speed "convertiable" might be OK with me. If it had a red interior, I would have already called him.

That white one is pretty nice. I'll bet that even BasementAmy would approve.

Total turnoff when Guys talk about how 'rare' their junk is. You nailed it -- nice color on a LeSabre.

I agree, the white one looks nicer,
BUT you should get both of those Vettes for your Pro Street 'Stang,
only one of them is not enough for your car.

I agree. The only C4's that would come close to an even trade would be '93-96 Convertibles. I AM a sucker for white with red interior, and would pay extra for the right one. The hardtops are really cool too. If I bought a convertible, I would find a hardtop for it too.

I had an offer of around $5k for the car as a roller... He was cool about it, admitted it was a low ball, but he has a $9k Cleveland motor waiting to go into something...

The car is still for sale.

I thought this one was interesting, but Mr. Roark owns it, and
doesn't realize that the car isn't worth what he wants for it.
Most Corvettes depreciate.

"This vehicle came from the Bob McDorman collection!"

Holy SH*T!!! The Bob McDorman collection!?!?!??!!!! I'm headed for Indiana right now!!!!

I should have put in my ad that the Tubstang is from the Basement Paul Collection... It probably would have sold by now.

While I get your point, Bob McDorman wasn't exactly a nobody. Used to drive past his Chevy dealership in Columbus on Route 33, when I'd take the Columbus route to Athens. It always had a LOT of Corvettes.

Fair enough, but I'm not the guy that will pay an extra 30% because So-and-So owned a car. But like they say, there's an ass for every seat. After all, I bought this sweet pro-street Mustang...

Here's another trade offer:

http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/5141891796.html

Some of you saw this already. It's a beautiful car, but probably not worth a straight up trade, despite what he's asking.

I'll keep mine for sale.

It's OK, but it's nothing nothing special. Get it dirty and it's JUST an 80 Malibu with a V8.
It can't compare to any ProStreet car. As for his price, good luck with that.
You could buy some REALLY sweet rides for what he's asking, not an 80 Malibu.

Also, I looked at that 1978 98 Oldsmobile. It has a 403 and he want 8000.
The molding on the bottom of the front fender is falling off.

Yeah, that Malibu is not near enough to trade.

Mr Rourke's Olds 98. This one seemed seriously interesting to me though:

I sent him a couple follow up questions since there's no phone number (I hate that). No word back yet.
