Fall Carlisle 2015

It’s not too early to start thinking seriously about our Fall Carlisle adventure. The dates are Wednesday Sept. 30th thru Sunday October 4th. We would arrive on Thursday and return home Sunday morning.
OK, I've looked into acquiring a space or two at the Fall Carlisle event. Spaces are 10 feet by 30 feet. At $105 dollars, I think one might be enough. This space MUST be for selling, not solely for camping. The real clinker for me is we need to have a Pennsylvania Sales Tax/Transient Vendors license. That would oblige us to pay taxes on our sales. I personally am not willing to take on that responsibility. As far as the cost for the space or spaces, we would spread that cost across all of us who are there like we do with the room costs. If anyone is willing to become a vendor, I know I could bring some stuff to sell.
Here is a link to what it takes to acquire a space.

To me it sounds like a little more hassle than it's worth. I'm just as well with going and buying. If anyone wants to set it up, I'll chip in and bring some stuff.

I have some bad news. I will be missing Carlisle this Fall. Apparently if you don't reserve your State Park for your Fall trip they all book up a year in advance. The only weekend they had was this weekend. I skipped the camp out last year but really hate to let down my Den again. So I will be camping while you guys are at Carlisle. So sorry.

Not the end of the world. At least you'll be outside and doing something fun. I'm guessing with your son?

I missed the Cub Scout campout last year too. Alex said he wanted to go this year for sure. Plus since I am the Den leader I will leading a couple other 3rd graders in our activities. Maybe next year the dates won't conflict. I so wanted to go this year.

Fall Carlisle is coming. I have just booked 2 adjoining outside rooms
at the SUPER 8 arriving Thursday Oct. 1st leaving Sunday Oct. 4th.
My for-sure attendees are Paul, John, Walt, and me.
With two rooms there is plenty of room for more.
Will YOU be there???

Talked to WXO today, so at this point we have WXO, BP, GMJohnny, and myself attending Carlisle.
Sure looking forward to it. This will be our 31st year, I still have the 1985 T-shirt.

You can probably cancel the second room at this point. John and I can fight for floor space.
Looking forward to deals on LS1 hop up parts!

WXO and I will share the second room. We'll check our confidence in the Lincoln just before we head out. If it appears to be in shape for the trip, we'll bring it. If not, we'll bring the Explorer.
Looking forward to another great time at Carlisle.
Maybe I'll find some 255/60 15 tires and a 3.25 Traction Loc for the 9".

Sorry guys, I'm not gonna make it. I have an opportunity to go race Chumpcar at Road America with Tom in the BMW in mid-October and I cant do both trips. Road America is 2nd only to Mid-Ohio for tracks that I've always wanted to race on.
