After some convincing, we got the '87 442 out to the track to see if the upgrades were enough to push it ahead of my S-10. And Camaro Bob, shooting for the 14's in the Malibu Maxx made a strong showing.
The 442 ended up with a 15.31 at 87 mph, an .8 improvement over his last trip out.
The S-10 ran it's best of 15.64 at 85 mph in a losing effort to the 442's 15.37.
And Camaro Bob dropped a 15.29 @ 88mph in the Maxx with an open exhaust!
