6-14-2006 TRP Results

I took my first trip out to TRP today, with the supercharged Pontiac. The car ran very good, although the rust was evident in my reaction times. My best of the night was a .617 (.117)
14.50 @ 93
14.94 @ 92 (massive wheel spin)
14.58 @ 93
Dialed 14.49 for Round 1 v. fox-body Mustang dialed at 14.25
14.37 @ 90 -- on the brakes. Lost by breakout. I had the guy covered the entire time and didn't get on the brakes soon enough.
I think 14.30s for bone-stock (K&N, resonator replaced with straight pipe) is pretty damn respectable. I wonder just how hard a 14.00 or 13.99 becomes.
For reference, the first GTP went 14.52 @ 95 in the cold at Dragway 42.
