Last chance to race this year?? The forecast for Saturday is 46deg and partly cloudy. Looks like a recipe for low times! If I were a betting man, I'd say 32v will be there with a bag of ice and an empty tank of fuel. If that's the case, I'll be there with something. Not sure if I'll take the truck or the Saturn. I'm betting I could get a 15.5x out of the Saturn with the cold air and the new shorter tires.

There's a new sheriff in town... and he has 32valves and a supercharger...

BP and I were at TRP very early. The Announcer said that the track has been preped for great traction,
the temperature is cold (46 degrees),
and there is a 10-15 knot tailwind, so there should be some record lower et's.



WOW! Was he ever right. BP was a missed gear change away from his best in his Saturn,
but he still managed a 15.60 @ 88.95.
I was able to back up my best with a 12.50@112.
I believe I have a better time slip than Mostmint, BP, or GMJohnny.
TRP is always fun, some days it's just alot more satisfying!!!

I actually did get a tenth faster than my best with the 15.60 run, but I was on a run that would have been in the 50's if I wouldn't have missed my 2-3 shift just a little bit. My 60ft and 330 were .03 quicker. Either way, pretty quick for a Saturn, but the story of the day was the crazy fast Cadillac. I'll post a couple shots of the caddy and a video. What stinks is I didnt tape the 12.49 pass as 32v hot lapped and I didn't think it would be the monster pass it was. I was wrong!
