Nice job.
I too, am pissed at the attitude of the Andean Steelership...
Not a
good customer... I'd be over the service desk, and... I hope he's got good dental...
Damn, that kind of attitude, just pisses me off.
Is this just American made car dealerships, or does this kind of attitude exist at Honda, Toyota etc???

The only Honda issues I have had were with the car. Honda dealer wanted big bucks for a battery, went to Autozone bought a battery and had issues. Went back to Autozone said it was a defective battery, gave me another one. Still car wasn't right. Took it Honda and they said you can only use a Honda battery. Had them put a Honda battery in it and no problems. Not sure why the batteries are different, they had roughly the same cca's.
Then the spark plugs, I wanted to use Bosch (cause I work here) and Honda said NO, only NGK, th engine is designed around NGK, I didn't want another battery experience so I went with the NGK's (only I installed them myself.
Once in a while I'd get a Honda Service Writer who acted a little bit like they knew more than me. But nothing out right rude like the Andean guy. O when he said that I voiced my opinion and the other guys waiting service heard me too. I was really upset, that's why I bad mouthed them to GM also when I first called and when I emailed yesterday to let them know it's resolved. The Honda has about 160k on it know, bought it with 10 miles on it.

o yeah I also forgot this. When I was at Andean and the dude made the "not good customer" comment and said he couldn't get his GM area rep to cover it, I asked who it was and what his number is and the dude said he wouldn't give it to me. That mad me even a little more upset.
Anyway, for now all is good. I'll be taking to Nash from now on.
Just for reference
Hendrick is 10 minutes away
Andean is 20 minutes away
Nash is like 35 minutes away, maybe little longer, lots of traffic and lights.

They said the Honda charging system is VERY sensitive. A little too many amps and it sends all the senors and such into a fit. He also told me if the battery is really too big it will burn up the wiring harness and stuff, don't know if it's true, NOT gonna try it.
I have to add "Thank God for the internet". I have been on the Avy site and the Honda/Accord sites, they help A LOT ....... my only peeve is when someone starts a thread and doesn't finish it so you don't know what / if anything fixed the problem. So I try to make it point to close out all my threads.
