Yeah, I didn't know VW painted its cars with "flat" paint
If anyone close has a polisher that I could borrow that would be great,I will provide good beer for the person that lets me use it!

Harbor Freight has one on sale for $30. It looks just like the one I bought for $69 but with more pads, etc. Its working fine so far.

thanks. good lookin' out .but the dough im going to dowl out on POR-15,sealer, kromate, yadda yadda .......its a recession car so im trying to save some cash . (she'll have it a year or so and thats all) she drove a Tauras before that. What a POS. ill never buy a ford. I just want to do a cheap shine and polish + practice some basic skillz on the body work!
