The problem with posting replies (anything with that phpbb_word_searchlist in the error) is mine to fix. The usual solutions have not worked, so I might have to drop the table and re-add it. I have a backup of the database from Feb 16, but this is stuff I don't normally deal with, so I don't know much about it. So, I go slow.

I'm not overly worried about the security here -- there's not much that would be of value to anyone else. Certainly no personal or financial information. But I see that support for phpBB V2 ended on January 1, 2009, so that might be reason enough to upgrade. I prefer to have a fully functional system before I attempt to upgrade, though.

Well, I think I have the problem solved. No more errors on posting replys. However, I had to drop the search table, so searching is probably broken at the moment. I have some code that is supposed to rebuild the search table, I just don't know how to install it yet.

Finally figured out the searching stuff and it is all fixed. Did some test searches and it seems to be working ok. There might still be a problem with email notifications not going out (or am I the only one not getting them?)
