So, Matt & Walt, have you guys been personally affected by the reported gas shortage in the southeast?

Yes, about a week ago, I drove into Costco to fill up Randi's car and they had no premium and the regular was 10% ethanol. This was very unusual.
Also, I heard a lady on the radio today saying she had to visit 3 stations before she found some gas to buy. This was in Durham, which is not too far away. Since we have three cars and they all have full tanks, I won't be needing gas for a while. I expect the supply to catch up by then.

I would have to say that half the gas stations I pass on a daily basis are out of ALL gas. When I pass one with gas there is a line at least 4 cars deep, I've seen it 15 cars deep too. I got lucky Saturday morning I went to Kroger and they had gas, so I filled up (1 car wait) and then went home got Yasmina's car and went and filled it up. It was reasonable. Regular unleaded for $3.91 (after my Kroger discount).

oh yeah, it was so bad that they have a cop directing the traffic at the Walmart gas station. Half the exits are blocked and he is directing the traffic one way through the pumps.
