That's pretty cool. I heard a rumor that NBC is trying to develop a US version of that Top Gear program.

When Thompsom Raceway Park brings out a Crop Duster for my truck or a Corporate Jet for my car, I'll be ready.

Reminds me of something my Dad used to say - There is always someone who will be faster than you.

A great video!

Hrmm... The Veyron is certainly a bad ass, but at higher speeds. I think he said it got as high as 188 when it can go over 250. It's 0-60 is only 5.7 seconds. So, why not use something a little better designed for the task like ZR1. It may 'only' do 200MPH but it'll reach 60 around 3 flat or so, etc. I'd throw the Viper ACR in there, but I don't think it'll hit the turn anywhere near like what the ZR1 could. From what I've read, 0-125 is 7.8 seconds for the Veyron, 0-100 is 6 second flat for the ZR1.

I think you misheard, because he was doing 100 in 6 seconds. These are in the mid 10's in the 1/4, at some ridiculous speeds. I don't think there's any "production car" that can hang with it. That little gauge they show that goes to 1000, is a HP meter...
