cool neighbor

As I'm getting settled into the new house, I met one of my neighbors -- the guy off to the side of my back yard with all the Chevelle parts behind his barn (notably, I saw a few 70 Chevelle rear bumpers).

Annie had wandered over there and he didn't know who she belonged to. With a Cuyahoga dog license, he called the Sheriff's office, who called me, blah blah blah.

So, I go over there to get her and up in his main garage is a mint '70 Chevelle SS convertible (red, black interior, black top, automatic). Didn't notice if it was a 396 or 454. In his barn in the back, there was a similar vintage El Camino under a cover, another A-body on his lift, a big-block in the back on a stand and lots of tools. He said he owned 13 muscle cars, and that another friend of his owns *36* Chevelles.

Good to know, I am guessing he won't be calling the police when you start your Chevelle with open headers, or lay some rubber on the street.

question: have any of the 13 been on the drag strip?

Time will tell if the 36 Chevelle story is true or just another from the basement.

What are you doing with your old house? Did you sell it?

Here's a few pics I took a couple weeks ago.. You can see my truck and my mom's Pacifica fits easily into the garage, neither of which are small vehicles.

I have 2 comments though.

1. thats alot of grass to cut
2. thats a BIG satelite antennea

Did you sell the other house? Rent it out? Are you going to keep the vette and the chevelle in the garage?
