If the procedure is successful it'll be worth the time and trouble.

Making the Semi Finals in a National Event (Drag Week) with Spinal Stenosis is impressive, to say the least.

Am just now hearing about Walt's passing. That's very, very sad to hear. Good dude.

Good to hear. One step at a time.

If you can sit up it might be time for some Pokerstars.

It's been a couple months since your surgery and any updates.
Just wondering how the 'nonlinear' healing process is going.

Things have progressed very well, to be honest. It's been 77 days since surgery and I'm mostly back to normal. I still have some occasional discomfort in my feet and legs, but its pretty mild. Ibuprofen and Tylenol take care of it. I'm not limiting myself from really doing anything at this point. I've moved 40lb bags of salt to the basement, and moved iron heads between the garages. But I'm still more cautious with anything that requires good balance.

About the only thing I havent tried yet is a jog or run. I know for fact that I ran full speed in Aug 2024 (whatever day the tornados went thru) and that when I tried to jog/move-fast through the staging lanes in Summer 2025, I knew I would fall right on my face. I won't fall on my face now, but I havent tested to see how quickly I can really move. I'll wait till spring.

I shudder when I think about what they did to me, and that my doctor said this would be a 'boring, routine' surgery for him. But I'm living proof of the miracle of modern medicine!
