Dan and I made a father/son road trip to Bowling Green Kentucky to the Corvette museum and factory. Drove down on Monday, stayed the night, then Tuesday did the museum then headed home. I was unbale to schedule a factory tour.
Apparently, you can purchase a new Corvette at any dealership, then take delivery at the museum. We saw such a delivery take place while we were there. Rather impressive.
All in all, 934 miles round trip. Averaged 30.1 MPG.
Already planning a trip for next year to include a factory tour.
