Based on the squat of the tow vehicle, I'd believe it to be real. Plus the mount and wiring look real too. But pulling 4500+ lbs with a Corvette seems an odd choice. I get the visual aspect and "WTF did I just see" factor, but I have to think there's a safety factor that the rear suspension is most certainly not up to the task.
A's for effort though. It does look cool.
