Tried last Thursday to get Rachel and the Charger on the 1/4 mile but weather sceered them into canceling.
Next attempt is June 13. I'll probably bring the SS.

About 30 minutes west - definitely the home track

42 is definitely nicer than TRP.....and doesn't serve burgers that make you run for the....."office".
But for us Geauga County types, it's hard to beat TRP. So many good memories over the years (or should I say DECADES) with more to come.

Re: Dragway 42 2019
The big drawback to 42 is that it's not easy to be a racer and spectator at the same time. The new setup made that impossible. The old 42 was pretty good from that standpoint, but bad in most other ways. And I'm surprised after all that updating, that they didn't make the shutdown area longer. From what I've heard, they're making it harder to race there if you're Joe Blow like us. They're looking for "real" racers and their race cars and doing it successfully. It makes sense though, as spectators would rather watch fast and loud cars, and not streeters.
