Showdown! I'll be there to see if my intake helped at all.

Looks like we are going to get some T-N-T in finally. The old truck was 15.70's over 90 mph.
Pretty confident I'll do better than that. Can't wait.

Just back from TRP with BP and Smoke. I think everyone was happy with their numbers.
The 2005 Silverado best pass was 15.7452 at 90.46 mph.
The 2014 Silverado best pass was 15.2413 at 91.72 mph. Room to grow.
A long wait for three passes, but we're racing again.
As always, TRP is great fun!

I pulled this image out of the video that BP shot of me on my first run. Love the weight transfer
I went 12.33, 12.33, 12.36. I was very happy with those numbers.

I couldn't get a good launch, but have since remembered how to launch, so next time I go out will be better. The good part is that my new intake has yielded me a 98.2mph pass which gets me that much closer to 100mph. I think with an updated exhaust and a little colder air, I'll get the elusive three digits. I'm not even too concerned with ET at this point, just want to have a 100mph work truck.
I only made two passes, which was good for now. I'll go again in the fall when it's cooler and the exhaust is done.

Holy Crap!! Your 60' time is incredible! Remind me not to
street race you unless we have 1/4 mile + about 500'
before the next stop light!

Yeah, it's a really good combination. The M/T ET Streets are the key to 60ft. Can't hook up at all on my street tires. This is also with open headers.
