Re: 1996 Collector Edition Corvette

That car is getting a lot of love. It's cool how much you've done so far. Hopefully you'll be able to run trouble free the rest of the year.

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

Running two different vehicles in two different classes makes the night a lot busier! Luckily, the classes I picked didn't overlap one another so I wasn't jumping back and forth between vehicles. In the Corvette, I was in 2WD V8 and Street Gas 4.5 which is a 4.5 index for streetable vehicles. I pret...

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

This Thursday is my first dirt drag of the year at Dragway 42. I'll be there with the Vette and the Raptor. Should be a busy night!

Practice and registration start at 5 and eliminations begin at 7pm. Pretty sure the ATS will be in attendance.

Re: 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660

Since trailer exists because of the quad, I'll post it here. I loaded it up with my old mower and fridge headed for Tony's place on Friday night. So far I'm super please with the functionality of this thing. I got a new mower and fridge so he's taking these as upgrades at the House of Bricks. The mo...

Re: 1979 Malibu

It would be a definite improvement. Or just take it off altogether. The rest of the car is empty already. Does this car currently have a heating/defrosting function still?

Re: 1979 Malibu

Now that your car is super fast, and you have cool videos from inside the car, you need to replace the dash pad.

Re: 2024 Drag Racing Stuff

I had my first outing with the Raptor last night. This is a whole new world for me. I was kinda glad they were 1/8 mile just to help me get acclimated to getting a feel for what's going on. I haven't had this thing over probably 30-35mph ever so there were a lot of variables. I was improving all nig...

Re: 1979 Malibu

I was right behind Dave for the 10.55 pass. It was straight and clean, and I could tell that there's still a ton more time in the 60'. The 10.55 is great, and there's a ton more potential sitting there in a little more tuning with no more power required. It runs straight and true, and sounds great. ...

Re: Quickest Cars on Tiresmoke

I know there's lots of updates that need to be done on this list. I just updated the Vette (minimal change).

Two in the front, one for the rear axle. That's all of them. The old fluid was pretty dark.

Re: 2003 S-10

The S10 has been at Dad's for a few weeks while the Vette is at my place. I bought some braided brake lines awhile back with the intention of putting them on over the winter. Winter is clearly over but yesterday seemed a good day for the task. I didn't take any pictures so use your imagination, but ...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

I did know the headlight off trick. A headlight aiming tool would be handy. Might worth doing it with a full tank of gas since these hold so much fuel.
Definitely needs to be DARK to know if it worked.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

So my headlight adjustment in the garage was pretty unsuccessful in the dark so last night I went out with a screwdriver at dusk and drove around making several adjustments, each one a little better, but I'm pretty happy how they turned out compared to what I had. With last Wed being a little crazy,...
