Re: Table top fire pit, CHINESE CRAP!!!
Thanks for ideas. MostMint, I sent a query to McMaster. We'll see what they come up with. If they have something, I'll have to find a business to order it since they don't sell to individuals. Looked online at Grainger but didn't contact them. We have a local store. GM, that could explain some of th...

I have been screwed by the last two Chinese products. Bought a rechargeable leaf blower with two batteries, one of which failed after a few uses. Battery is "Guaranteed" but only available with that leaf blower, not by itself. They didn't like my idea of replacing the whole leaf blower. Al...

Change AC Schrader Valve w/o Losing Freon
WXO and I are both chasing AC leaks. We learned something interesting. An inexpensive tool allows a Schrader valve to be replaced without losing the charge and without getting sprayed with refrigerant. https://youtu.be/t69uLxmM5XE Advice to check the Schrader valves after gauges are disconnected see...

Re: 1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe
Didn't get to Pep Boys to find the leak before they closed. WXO and I have not had much luck charging the Lincoln AC for some reason. In the past, the low side was so hot it was hard to get refrigerant to go in. So, I decided to wait for cool weather to try again. Got at it with the cool weather on ...

I wondered what that liquid was laying on the bottom of the intake in the video. Maybe oil coming from the turbos?

Love the clean undercarriage and original parts stickers still visible. And, 3/10 faster than the Lincoln.

Re: 30,000 Cars
I'd like to see his collection of sales brochures as a library at some car museum. Or scanned and online. Would be fun to peruse them for cars we've owned.
