Re: Tiresmoke Turbo Trailer

You'll definitely want to get that, but otherwise you'll be fine. Kevin pulls the same type right with a heavier car with no issues. But he has that hitch and makes a world of difference.

Re: 1991 Jaguar XJ-S

Good work, Tim. That was a doozy. I suspect that rear will come down at least another inch by winter. Might be interesting to put a tape on it and see how much it drops in the next six months.

Re: Welcome

I was only in my house three years at this point, a tiny two car garage, and one of the spaces had the Caddy, and the other was a two year old S10. I was working at Classic still, but not for long. By the end of '05 I started at HGR. I didn't know it at the time, but it changed my life.
I don't ...

Re: 2020 Ford Ranger #55

Well, we were finally able to get the lowering kit installed on the Ranger. I think it looks so much better. Having everything lower makes this truck so much more operator friendly too. Easy to get in and out of, loading in the back is almost as low as my S10, and I don't think I'll need a ladder to ...

Re: 2007 Mini Cooper S

This weekend the Mini Pooper got an interior detail job, and some new Weather Tech molded floor mats. These always fit so well, and look perfect in this thing. The pictures aren't that good but the inside of this car is very nice. I'll worry about the outside once the Ranger is back. I've been ...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

The seat is back in place. And since I had most of the top end apart, I put new gaskets, or seals in this case, on the valve covers, intake manifold, and valley cover. Next week we should be able to finally get the intake back on for good, finish up the throttle cable, and work on some PCV tubing ...

Re: 2007 Mini Cooper S

TURBO! Paleez. I would NOT buy a normally aspirated Mini Cooper. I'm on a fine line of manliness as it is.

Re: 2007 Mini Cooper S

She really likes it. She hasn't had a chance to drive it yet, but I expect that will happen this weekend. Once I get the original taillights back, I'll determine whether to keep the aftermarket ones in there, or put the stockers back in.

And I think if you show up around 6:15-6;30, you'll still get a couple passes. The weather doesn't look too good though as the day progresses.

Re: 2007 Mini Cooper S

We met at a Chase bank which was conveniently located right by the license bureau so notary and temp tags were super easy to get. All in all, a good buying experience. The seller forgot to bring the stock taillights with him to give me, but will be dropping those off at MostMint's place this weekend ...

2007 Mini Cooper S

So I've been looking lately for a small car that would be entertaining and still fit in the smaller parking area of my garage where I've been keeping the quad. A quick measurement said I had about 18' total, and I have to be able to parallel park it in that space, so I figured I needed something ...

Re: 1991 Jaguar XJ-S

I expect it will take hundreds of miles and several months of gravity to chill those springs out to their natural height. A couple bags of ballast while it's sitting or even during your next few drives would speed up the process. I never once doubted your ability to tackle this project, but damn ...
