Re: 1991 Jaguar XJ-S

That did turn out really well. I would just go buy a Yeti that doesn't leak when it's upside down instead of putting cup holders in there. Looks too cool the way it is.

Re: iRacing broadcasts

Better than Kuhnle, both in quality, and the fact that you actually got it...

Nice work!

Re: Welcome

I think we watch as the new schedules unfold over the next month or two and we should be able to come up with something fun.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

Over the last couple weeks I got the oil pan buttoned up. The newish harmonic balancer is installed. GM helped me yesterday to keep the engine from tipping over when 240 lb ft was applied. I really have to work on figuring out what to do with all the extra engine electrical wiring that's basically i...

KOI Dirt Drags North vs South '24

So a few weeks back I made the (roughly) 330 mile journey to Osgood, IN in the S10 with the Raptor in tow for a couple days of dirt drag racing. I met the Reed family there. Friday night was trucks and kids quad classes and Saturday was all quads, dirt bikes, and SXS. We lucked out with the weather ...

Re: 2008 Corvette Coupe

Looks like Dragway 42 is open for TNT on Saturday. You should bring this. I'll bring my Mustang. Andy has car racing options also... Dave might be done for the year, but has lots of stuff that's ready for the 1/4 at a moments notice.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

Also, if you look at the picture with the dipstick poking out by the oil pickup in the last post, that's the original dipstick. I bought an aftermarket one, but am leaning towards just using the stock one, but need to contact Canton about this to verify it will be right, or if the new level should b...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

So apparently it's been awhile since I've posted. The new Circle D torque converter, flexplate, and adapter parts are here along with the RPM rebuilt 4L60E Corvette transmission. I also decided to buy a new road race oil pan assembly from Canton. It was expensive, but with the price I will be able t...

It has a good look. And zero rust. Any of those around here over five years old are rusty everywhere. I forgot about the Wozbean!
