If the car is running, I'll be there for sure. Round 2 with computer controlled ignition. Still not working.

If the car isn't running, maybe the bike!

If the Chevelle isn't tip-top, you ought to bring the Beretta so you can run in eliminations. Maybe Andy will have the Vette race-ready by then...

What will Mark race??

They going to let you run a Mopar at Ford vs Chevy?

I am hoping to have the Vette ready but since I am going to the swap meet ot Randolph on 8/6 I do not plan to go to this. I'll think about it some more

We could do the next week (the 14th) where the Rock n Roll Capitol Street Machines are hosting the Sunday event. Then everyone could race...

Opinions??

I doubt they would deny anyone to run, regardless of make/model.
So on comes the 260hp magnum 5.9 :P
The street machine thing is cool. I've been to at least one, and even took home a plaque for best reaction time of the day ---> .503  as I remember.

Any Sunday is good w/me.

Last time I was there they didn't let the mopars actually race, only run time runs...

I won one of those last year for a .501 -- But I got a $25 gift certificate to Summit for my efforts. I think it went toward the fuel pump, if I remember.

Well, the Chevelle is running, so I'll most likely be there with it.

Will this be the first appearance of Paul's F150?

Will the cheeseburger showdown be at this event?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The 7th or 14th. I'm available.
Ram 1500 vs F150 aka, the 'Cheeseburger Duel'
Ready when you are Paul.... 8)
5.0 vs 5.9 - I feel I have the HP to weight advantage.

I think the 14th would be better. With work so busy, I haven't had time to prepare the truck yet. Heck, I haven't even changed the oil yet, let alone tune it at all.

The 14th seem ok?

So, are you guys still going out on the 7th, but just putting off the Cheeseburger Challenge till the 14th?

I'm still planning on going on the 7th.
