NEW NUMBERS

With weather in the 50's not the high 80's, actually 54 degrees, I thought I'd like to see what the STS-V would do.
With a little better traction and a little better temperatures, I had a best run of 13.397 seconds @103.240 mph. :D
Backed that up with a 13.462 @ 103.161.

In the first round of eliminations I ran the same Yellow Camaro (dialed 11 flat this time) that I ran in the Animal final last time out.
Treed him again, but ran 13.47 on a 13.39 dial, lost by .02 seconds. TRP's always fun!

Lookin' for 4 tenths

Impressive runs, my friend. I wonder if a tuner can find four tenths in there somewhere?

I would be an intake, and more importantly, a performance exhaust system would easily put that V in the 12's.

Did you know that there are electric exhaust cutouts available? Suiting for a vehicle of this stature...

Very impressive numbers. Were you shifting yourself or letting the computer do it?

Looks like real world numbers. How does your ride stack up?

Now that this is your quickest car you've ownen, what can you do to make it the fastest? The 68 Camaro had at least one trip down the quarter at over 105mph, so this one still has a little work to do, or just haze the tires off the line a little more...

I should talk, my fastest car to date is not even in the 13's.

We just added a new mare to the stable to be in the same barn with Fred32v's STS-V.
It's a newer 2008 LaCrosse CXL 3800 Series III v6 powered ride for Arlene16v.

I wonder if I breed the STS-V with the CXL, will I get a silver SKY or Cobalt SS? :?

How did you manage to talk her out of her old ride? I can't believe that she instigated this swap.

Hmmm.

I don't know for sure, but I think it would be either
1) the oldest grandchild is 15 1/2 and will need a car soon
2) she figured he would stop nagging about it once she bought one
