Hey, for the people on corvette action center who are having trouble with the pics, tell them the remove the final '/' from the url. (or edit your post)

It should be

Code: Select all

http://myhost.com/pic.jpg

but NOT

Code: Select all

 http://myhost.com/pic.jpg/

You know, if you painted the area in between the 'spokes' black, they'd look a lot like General Lee wheels.

I wonder how many extra hits you'd get just having the words General Lee in your auction and/or heading...

The pics are gone, but the winning bid is there.

Tiresmoker - do you know if it is the same bolt pattern?

I think Ford & Mopar have the same bolt pattern (5 x 4.5") while I think GM uses a different one (5 x 4.75")

I believe the rims to be American Racing.
At one time, I owned a '74 Camaro Z28..... (my ownership duration was par with any one of BPs rides). Mine had the EXACT same rim design. The center caps had the A/R logo on a foil sticker.

Thanks Mark. The center caps are missing the foil in the middle. I looked them over closely and found no references of any kind. Maybe it is inside and I have to take the tires off.

Yikes a set just like these went for $1500 on ebay!

They are American Racing Vector wheels - genuine General Lee style.

I need to redo my auction.

Long shot question: Do you recall if the American Racing rim were slotted so they could fit different size bolt patterns?

I just got a message on my ebay auction indicating the original American Racing rims were not slotted, but some imitations from US Mag were slotted.
