This guy is wanting to trade for my GN. He said he would ad some cash on top but I don't know how much yet. What do you think the value of this is?

I'd say that's a $6k car on it's best day. But probably a ton of fun to drive. I bet it sounds sweet too.

Good luck.

I just had an offer of a 1972 corvette in mid restoration. 350/350 car.

I'm going with no. Talk about a money pit. If it was a '69 and older, maybe, IMO.

That's what I was thinking.

I am leaning towards just keeping the car.

This guy is offering me an 80k mile W30.

Here is what he emailed me.
Car was repainted 4 years ago, needs carpet and headliner.
Has all documents including original window sticker.
H.i.d headlights with clear glass lenses not the cheap plastic ones.
Dual thrush exhaust has been installed with turn downs, along with it have a brand new edelbrock intake and a fitech efi and electric fuel pump system that I am about to install (that alone was 1800 bucks) brand new pioneer speakers all the way around along with remote start and security. Car does need new windshield installed and trunk repainted however I have another trunk lid and my body guy has a windshield since he broke the original one while car was in shop. All emblems were removed during repaint and didn't look good enough to put back on car after paint so I left them off.

I am thinking if he will do the car and $2000 cash (less the efi, I don't really want it).

There's been several guys on chevelles.com recently who got that Fitech injection and it seems to work really well. Bolts on to a conventional 4-bbl intake, completely self-learning (neural-net processor?? ;-) ) Very self-contained, much less involved than my Megasquirt.

For the right price, I'd be interested in it. Might work really good on the Blazer.

Also, I have a friend who is really into those W30s and G-bodies in general if you want/need more detailed info on them. Lookup Classic Gbody Garage on Facebook. The guy who runs it is Brian Suter, he's a good dude.

I'm thinking that the w30 is only worth about $6k - $7k.
That style of car just isn't bringing the money yet. I think
it's because the horsepower just isn't there. They all get butchered
up trying to make them faster. It looks like a bit less of a project
than the GN, but I'm not certain of the demand for it, or how
easy it would be to sell.

I'm thinking he gives you the fuel injection AND the $2k. You could sell it if nothing else. Still needs some work, but looks nice on the outside.

Well I proposed his car (didn't mention the efi) and $2500 as trade and he said his car is worth WAY more than the $6000 I valued it at. Looks like I am keeping the GN. Once the BMW gets it's couple small issues fixed, the GN is next for upgrades.
