I'm not sure this is the place for this, but it was a winter project that is almost complete.
The GTX2100 is a Cub Cadet tractor that had a hole in the block among other things.
GMJohn found this thing and we brought it home in baskets. Most of the parts were there.
There was no saving the busted motor. GMJohn found a new take-off motor.

GM did the mechanicals, I did the cosmetic stuff.

Almost ready to mow.

Captain's chair and wheel weights to keep from burning the tires. Nice!

Other options not mentioned: Cruise control, electric deck lift,
finger-tip adjustable deck height, tilt wheel, power steering,
hour meter, fabricated deck.... This thing is loaded!!! I originally
purchased this tractor as a money making plan. I purchased the
whole tractor, which is a 2013 model and originally cost over $5000,
for $500. About a week into the plan, Fred32v decided he'd like a
new tractor. So after maybe 30 hours or so of labor and a new
"take out" motor from another Cub, here it is. I think Fred has
about $1600 - $1700 in it. If we sold it, we could sell cheap at $3000
and be way ahead. Oh.... reduce the amount we have in it by $125,
I found a dude to buy the old motor.......

Looking at reviews for some whitewall tire paint and came across this. Maybe next time?
