Two new things in this picture.
1) I just received my new vanity plates. They fit the Silverado better than the V's plates.
2) You can't see it but I installed the Pop&Lock system on my tailgate. Now the tailgate locks and unlocks with the drivers door,
just like BP's RAM, his came with his truck. Took about 6-8 hours, it was a solo install, old guys are slower but persistent.

Nice shine on her, Fred. I can see all your well-groomed acreage in the tailgate. By the way, what color is the new ride? I can't be sure from the photos I've seen. Pure black? Dark blue? ...

Color it BLACK! When it's dirty it's just another truck,
BUT when the Silverado is clean it's awesome!
While I was sitting at a stop light last week,
I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a gal
taking a picture of "OH YEAH!". Fun continues.

I like the plates and decals. It's original, fun, but very tasteful.....IMHO.
All in all, very well done!

I'm desperate to find something to post. Just give me a roll of striping tape and look out.
These snow tires are from my old red truck. I didn't think the red striping would look good
on a black truck so I removed it, but the wheels looked really bland even for snow tires.
So I used a black strip to help. The sensors are ready to be installed.
Looking forward to the real snow.

That's OK Fred....it's WAY cheaper than an Engine Swap!
Very cool little project, though. Well done.

That's not on the build sheet! Looks like it should be though.

I did a similar project on Randi's Avalon, but I only had to change the mirror. I got one with the garage door buttons from ebay. It's a very convenient addition. Good job Fred.

You should gain a tenth or two from that upgrade!

I just added 25 HP to "OH YEAH". I filled it with E85, stock rated jumped from 355hp to 380hp.
http://www.lingenfelter.com/forum_linge ... ork-begins
Ligenfelter showed 0.4 seconds and 2.7 mph in the quarter.
I can't wait to get it on the track, I'll let you know.
