Those are pretty much race tires. I would switch to the Sportman Pro's for the rear and the regular Sportsmans for the front. They're easy to steer, but have a tendency to chase the road if it's got trenches from trucks.

Cool-ass ride, but will be loud and obnoxious, which is always fun!

Keep us posted...

It is pretty cool. The problem is I wouldn't really "race" it, so the 468 is more than I need. I would be happy with a smallblock and a blower.

I have the truck up for sale and then the other BMW hopefully. Although I think I have someone interested in the BMW already. I am just waiting on the tuner to check the tune (you can start the car in gear which is not supposed to happen). Are those rear tires "bouncy" ?

The prostreet car would be COOL though. We'll see if he still has it in a month and would take $20k. : )

I have always loved prostreets. Ever since I was cruising in Mentor (probably with Paul) and one of Kevin's buddies was there with one (it was either a monza or a vega, I don't recall which but it had wheelie bars, on the street, COOL).

If it's bouncy, it's the coilovers not the tires. Not to mention the tires never go over about 15psi, so they absorb a bunch. I think my Trans Am rode worse than the Tubstang.

Most pro street cars are slow (like mine), so it's cool to have the big block and you have something to back it up with.

It was a Vega BTW... the kids last name was Francis, but I can't remember his first name. I think his dad had an engine shop.

I will ONLY be buying it if the stars fall into place.

A. The truck needs to go.
B. The 2nd M3 needs to be sold.
C. The guy needs to take $20k for it (pending a longish list of questions I have).
D. My friend pays me back what he owes me.

You couldn't build that car for $20k. So it is what I would bring to Carlisle and try to turn a profit on.

I'd talk to someone who really knows their stuff before buying that one.
There is NOTHING factory about that car, which means that somebody
put it all together..... or many guys did it. I think buying that car is a
real gamble. You just don't know how it was put together, and repairs
could be costly.

Oh I have a long list of questions IF it ever gets that far. Engine builder? Frame builder? receipts? Certified chassis? Brakes (brands), more receipts? Dyno sheets? mustang II front end stuff? New or donor car? Trans builder? Long list and I would be talking to my friend who is a racer here in GA. (He sold his engine to one of the guys on Street Outlaws).
