Yeah, the first thought on that '98 is "wow, thats cheap". second thought is "whats wrong with it?".

I've been leaning back towards an F-body. I really like the looks of the thirdgen cars better than the fourth-gen, but there's a lot of value on the market in the LT1 cars. and the LT1s run so good. These all caught my eye for one reason or another..

A good friend of mine up in MI just picked up a '91 Miata from a customer. It's already got a roll bar, not sure if it's a bolt-in or weld-in and maybe a few upgraded parts, says I could buy it for $1500. Car looks decent in pictures.

I like the white roller Camaro. Then go get your LS motor and install. Already caged (pretty well I thought).

Or you could just go buy a white minivan.

That roller Camaro has been for sale for a while, but I agree, it looks well done. I like it. 3.27 gears w/ rear disc brakes.. Dragcar or Chumpcar?

With the correct rear tire, maybe you could have both?

Let's dig up an old thread.....and see what Dave should buy next.

This, IMHO, is an interesting car to watch.....even though it's an auto....and I don't really care for the red interior. Is this a $20K car now?

My guess is that it will bid out in the high teens. I don't think it'll draw $20,000.
Dave can't buy that one, he has to have a stick, and it can't be taken to track
day at Nelson because it has no hard top. But, a chrome rollbar would fix that!

I think this is more up Dave's alley, and the price is good!

That one has the three magic words - Zee Oh Six!!!

I literally came across the white '04 by accident while on eBay and thought it might be an interesting car to follow just to gauge what they're selling for "nationally". The one you dug up (oddly quick and early!) is a better car for sure.

We came accross a totally bad ass Copper 2007 Z06 with killer after market wheels last Spring for 27K (starting) at a dealer lot on the East Side. That's a lot of car for the money.

I know the moment that I say I'm ready to buy a C5, John will have a whole assortment of ads for me to browse! :-)

I'm just not ready to shell out 5 figures for a fun car just yet. There is an interesting C4 in mentor, 1990 coupe with a 6sp, 92k miles for $5500 though.

Financial responsibility has finally been beaten into me. If it werent for that, I'd have bought something already. Stupid adulthood.

If you sell the Chevelle, you'd have plenty of money... 1970 IS the hottest year.

No cars until my Lyndhurst house is sold. (or, worst case, re-rented) The good news is that I think I'm finally done with repairs and updates. Plumber is there today repairing the water main in the basement. It was leaking before the main shutoff valve.

I'm still having trouble with the notion of a 5-figure fun-car. I don't feel rich enough for that.

I texted the guy he says he would take $22,500. I would still offer him less. The miles are SO low.
