Smoke's new garage

Post by wxo »

With the arrival of Silvia, Smoke has been sitting outside in the weather for the past seven months. Remember the hood and roof damage from falling acorns? Now we are well on the way to a new home for Smoke.

Way to go Walt!! Building garages is just as fun as building cars!

You might want to take a visit over to garagejournal.com -- they have a great forum and a ton of knowledge/ideas/experience.

This is garage is meant to be basic. An acorn shelter for Smoke primarily. Gladys will be brought in from the weather, too. I expect I will be installing some shelves to offload lesser used tools etc from my main working garage. That's about it.

When we returned from three days at the beach, the framing was done.

Now we need some paint to match our house and a garage door and I can move in.

With only a power connection and some grading, the TBSS's new acorn shelter is virtually finished.
